David A. Guess
David A. Guess has overall responsibility for the administration and sales of technology services of Plaza Information Technologies, Inc. since 1997. Mr. Guess specializes in accounting software solutions. He is a board member and charter member for the Community Bank Advisors Network, a group of consultants that provide technology and consulting services to over 2500 community banks nationwide.
Mr. Guess has served on the MSCPA (Missouri Society of CPA's) Technology Committee for the last three years. Mr. Guess received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from University of Missouri. He received his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification in 1992, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA).
Michael A. Smith
Michael A. Smith is responsible for the direction of all the technical services of Plaza Information Technologies, Inc. Since joining Plaza IT in 1998 he has designed, implemented and maintained networks for clients in a variety of industries. Mr. Smith prior to joining Plaza IT, he worked for 16 years for McDonnell Douglas Corporation. His achievements at McDonnell Douglas include manager of the Avionics Fiber-Optic Design and Fabrication Group, "Teammate of Distinction" award for on-site modification of the AV/8B Emergency Jettison System for the Royal Air Force among other honors and achievements.
Mr. Smith has received the Chancellor's Certificate from University of Missouri in TCP/IP, UNIX and Novell. He has obtained the following certifications, Microsoft Certified System Engineer, Microsoft Certified Professional + Internet, and Novell Certified Network Administrator.
Ryan P. Essman
Ryan P. Essman is a network consultant with over 11 years experience. Since joining Plaza IT in 1999 he has implemented both Novell and Microsoft network operating systems for clients in a wide range of industries.
Mr. Essman has received the Associate of Technology in Computer Network Technology from Ranken Technical College, graduating with honors on the President's List and a 4.0 GPA. He has obtained the following certifications, Microsoft Certified System Engineer, Microsoft Certified Professional + Internet, Novell Certified Network Engineer, Novell Certified Network Administrator, and Computing Technology Industry Association A+ Technician.
Ian Schraier
Ian Schraier is a certified network consultant with over ten years of experience in the field. Having joined Plaza IT in April 2006, Ian uses his superior problem-solving abilities and focus on customer communication to create and manage customized network environments at all stages, from design and planning to implementation and support.
Ian received his Bachelor of Sciences degree from Bradley University, achieving academic distinction and graduating cum laude. He has achieved his Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer distinction, and holds certifications from 3Com and SonicWALL, as well as his A+ and Network+ certification. He continues to pursue accreditation from Microsoft and other vendors.
Christine S. Wetzler
Christine S. Wetzler is a network consultant with over 12 years experience. She recently joined Plaza IT and has had extensive experience with data and voice networking technologies, in addition to installing configuration router equipment including high speed digital circuits-frame relay, ATM, point-to-point, ISDN, broadband and wireless access.
Ms. Wetzler received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from McKendree College in 1992. She has obtained the following certifications, Microsoft Certified Professional, Certified SonicWall Security Administrator.
